Of the 10 national parks in Africa I've been thus far been privileged to visit, Kidepo Valley is by far the most striking physically. It truly is a stunning locale. Due to the tall grass that grows there, however it isn't necessarily the best place to spot wildlife as even remarkably large animals can hide quite effectively.
This shot, taken in the late afternoon while on a 'walking safari' shows the grass up to and over my 6' tall head.

The "Sipi Falls" actually is made up of three individual and separate cascades spread along a couple kilometer stretch of river. Here, the constant spray and moisture at the upper falls ensures that a permanent rainbow is always on hand.

Local tour guides say Murchison Falls is the most powerful waterfall in the world. While that claim isn't actually true, when you see the 100-meter wide raging, class 5 whitewater-filled Nile river squeeze down to shoot the 7 meter-wide gap in the rocks, you can easily see how they might believe that.
Between using a small aperture and a ND filter, I accomplished a longish exposure that blurred the water nicely despite it being bright mid-day light.
